The Orfoz journey, which began in 1986 under a small seaside motel in the Saroz Bay, continues today as one of Bodrum’s most unique and refined seafood restaurants. The BozçaÄŸa family’s passion has evolved over time from a simple family business to securing a lasting place on the Aegean’s gastronomic scene. Now led by the second-generation representatives, ÇaÄŸlar and ÇaÄŸrı BozçaÄŸa, Orfoz brings the fresh flavors of the sea together with an exceptional experience.

It all started with the retirement dream of GüneÅŸ and Selçuk BozçaÄŸa, a couple who migrated from Istanbul Pendik to Saroz. They converted their home into a motel and opened a restaurant underneath. The father worked in the kitchen while the mother took care of the service. Later, the couple moved to Bozburun and opened a second Orfoz, beloved by the local boatmen. This experience laid the foundation for the spirit of today’s Orfoz in Bodrum.



The Story of the Sea, on Your Table
At Orfoz, only a tasting menu is offered. The menu is shaped every morning based on the freshest seafood caught from Bodrum’s bays. Sea urchin, scallops, octopus, mussels, and seasonal fish are prepared throughout the day, bringing the scent of the sea to your plate. Each dish transforms into a balanced story crafted with the region’s herbs, plants, and seasonal ingredients.

Standout flavors include marinated and oven-roasted octopus tentacle, oven-baked mussels with garlic herb butter, seafood pilaf, baby squid casserole, and eggplant bomba. To finish, guests are served homemade mandarin liqueur alongside “anne kalburabastısı,” a walnut and almond pastry.
